It also provides the fun factors for kids whenever they achieved certain routines. At the same time, kids can learn why they joins the events and how much issues we need to care for other world’s kids like low nutrition and disease.

UX challenge

A five-point system was conceived based on the number of kilometers the children were expected to complete. With each point received, a pop-up would appear to raise the kids awareness of global children’s issues. Five bar charts were used to show a user’s progress toward these points.

Result

User participation was phenomenal. During the three days of the event, over 11,000 people participated as runners and spread the message of the cause. In addition, a second spread occurred due to the generation of feed posts from approximately 27,000 voluntary participants through the app. Of those who responded to the runners survey, more than 96% said they were satisfied, and about 92% said they would re-engage. The positive message of the Save the Children charity run was delivered not only to the participants but also to their contacts, establishing itself as a success.
